Business Plan for “Coco Robot”
Trash Is Only a Misunderstood Resource!
“Coco Robot”----Automatic Spent Coffee Ground Composting Robot
As we all know, spent coffee grounds are laways dumped as trash which brings huge pullutions. However,take Shenzhen for example, there are more than 17000 coffee shops and produce 16100 tons spend coffee grounds with 6969 tons CO2 emission each year.
Is there any way to turn those spend coffee grounds to treasue? Coco Robot-Automatic Spent Coffee Ground Composting Robot comes out. It can compost the spent coffee grounds and fallen leaves to produce organic fertilizer automaticly.
You just need to put spent coffee grounds and leaves in Coco Robot, the composting will be stared. Coco can monitor the temperature and humidity with sensors and maintain the best composting conditions by mixing or sprinkling rainwater. Also the power is produced by photovoltaic panels, making the energy used clean. Besides, the body of Coco is made up by 3D priting and it has the totaly digital system to control the composting process in time.
Based on our market research, 85% coffee shops are willing to donate their spend coffee grounds and 51% willing to buy Coco Robot.
We will put Coco in our community parks and it is calculated that one Coco Robot worth planting 100 trees!
Sustainable Agriculture: A Yunnan Solution
Members of GCAE did a field trip in Menglian, Yunnan, a major coffee production site. They got hands-on experience in the value chain of the coffee industry. In this trip, they discovered that owners of processing companies create a win-win solution with farmers by introducing multiple bonuses and emergency loans, building on Chinese relationism. Along with agricultural practices like planting shade trees in coffee fields, Menglian provides a both environmentally and socially sustainable solution to the world.

Kindness Bag
Hello everyone, I'm Michelle Zhan, 14 years old, come from China. I'm interested in the mental health of people living in rural poverty. Through the power of our Youth Society, I hope to help establish a psychological service station in township hospitals to serve local left-behind children and adolescents.
The "Kindness Bag" Initiative
Affiliated with the Children's Care Special Fund, this project focuses on adolescent mental health, with priority support given to left-behind children in rural areas and girls around 12-17years old.
The name "Kindness Bag" symbolizes using the bag as a vessel to carry kindness and strength. Each bag contains our specially
developed:
- Mental health physical products
- Therapeutic courses
- Interactive activities
…including emotional relief toolkits, personal growth guidance programs, and peer support sessions.
By incorporating professional care into tangible resources, we make warm companionship readily accessible. This initiative helps children lighten their emotional load and nurture healthy inner worlds—growing through love and understanding.
Mushrooms Empower Women
Hello, I'm Eva Wong from the US. In January 2020, I trivaled to NewYork to attend the UN Coforence, and got to know the SDGs for the first time. Deeply inspired by these goals, I committed myself to establish an innovative socila enterprise----E&M Mushroon Inc. to develp mushroon-based solutions, so as to solve the poverty of woman and children.
My project is "17 Moshi", which aims to Empower the World with Mushrooms for a sustainable future!
We are focused on poverty alleviation, communnity economic development and enviromnental protected by leveraging innovation and collaboration to drive SDG goals. We are already tailored mushroom cultivation and processed solutions for developing rigions, by offering technical training and industrail support to boost local incomes.

In daily life, seemingly insignificant coffee grounds are excellent green and environmentally friendly resources. Understanding the wonderful uses of coffee grounds and practicing green and environmentally friendly tips not only embark on a journey of rebirth and recycling for every coffee bean, but also allow us to make small contributions to the protection of the earth with just a little effort.
GCAE members have carefully designed fun science popularization exhibition boards and interactive games, including a coffee grounds composting classroom, carbon reduction quiz, green science popularization games, DIY coffee grounds bags, etc., leading everyone to deeply understand the secrets of green life, the impact of carbon emissions, and the wonders of carbon inclusive mechanisms. Participants can enhance their environmental awareness through personal experience and creative actions, realizing that every small daily action can bring significant changes to the earth.
Low-Carbon Living Campaign
GCAE and CASIV jointly organized the "Low Carbon Walk" low-carbon lifestyle advocacy activity. By organizing parent-child families to come to Butterfly Lake for carbon reducing challenge check-in. Through various forms such as knowledge quizzes, puzzle games, and fun interactions, puzzle pieces can be obtained, and completing the puzzle can earn exquisite gifts. There are also rich and colorful science popularization exhibitions, DIY interactive games for green plants, and other activities on site. During the event, you can learn about Shenzhen's biodiversity, unleash your creativity, and meet more partners who love environmental protection and practice green. While discussing green dreams together, you can also contribute to protecting the ecosystem, promoting environmental protection, and practicing green with practical actions!
